Job Overview
The Specialist - Financial Systems Support will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and enhancement of MTN Nigeria's financial systems. This role requires a deep understanding of financial processes and the technological infrastructure that supports them, ensuring data integrity, system availability, and user support.Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain financial systems, including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and other financial applications.
- Provide first and second-level support for financial system users, resolving issues and incidents promptly.
- Perform system configurations, customizations, and upgrades as per business requirements and IT policies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and translate them into system solutions.
- Develop and execute test plans for system changes and new functionalities.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security within financial systems.
- Create and maintain system documentation, user guides, and training materials.
- Monitor system performance and implement optimizations for efficiency and reliability.
- Participate in financial system projects, including implementation and integration.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience in financial systems support and administration, preferably with ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and business processes.
- Proficiency in SQL and database management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications in financial systems or IT are a plus.
