The Social Media Manager Job at Flutterwave Nigeria is a senior role responsible for defining social media strategy and overseeing daily execution across all platforms. You will own Flutterwave’s social voice and work closely with Brand, Communications, Creative, Product, and Growth teams to ensure messaging is clear, consistent, and impactful.

This position combines strategic thinking with hands on execution, community engagement, and performance analysis.

Social Strategy and Brand Storytelling

• Define and execute Flutterwave’s social media strategy in line with business and brand goals
• Translate brand stories and product messaging into engaging, platform specific content
• Maintain a consistent tone and voice across all social channels

Content Creation and Product Education

• Plan and publish content across platforms such as X, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and emerging channels
• Develop content that explains Flutterwave’s products in a simple, practical, and user friendly way
• Collaborate with designers, videographers, and content creators to deliver high quality visuals and videos
• Own and manage the social content calendar for campaigns and key brand moments

Community Engagement and Partnerships

• Manage day to day engagement on social platforms and respond thoughtfully to users
• Build and nurture strong relationships with Flutterwave’s online community
• Work with creators, influencers, and external partners to support campaigns and brand initiatives

Campaigns, Paid Social, and Performance

• Support social media execution for product launches and marketing campaigns
• Collaborate with Growth and Marketing teams to align paid social with campaign objectives
• Track performance metrics including engagement, reach, growth, and audience sentiment
• Use insights and data to continuously improve content strategy and publishing decisions

Reputation Management and Reporting

• Monitor conversations and trends related to Flutterwave across social platforms
• Flag potential brand risks and support proactive reputation management
• Prepare clear performance reports with actionable insights
• Ensure compliance with brand guidelines, data privacy standards, and regulatory requirements
