Job Overview
As a Senior Incident Response Consultant, you will be responsible for leading and executing complex incident response engagements for clients across various industries in Nigeria. You will act as a trusted advisor, providing expert analysis, strategic guidance, and hands-on support to clients facing significant cybersecurity incidents. This role requires a blend of advanced technical skills, strong communication abilities, and a deep understanding of the evolving threat landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end incident response engagements, including investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery.
- Conduct in-depth forensic analysis of compromised systems and networks.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive incident reports and strategic recommendations to clients.
- Provide expert consultation on security best practices and risk mitigation strategies.
- Stay abreast of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques relevant to the Nigerian market.
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to the development of internal incident response methodologies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior incident response or digital forensics role.
- Deep understanding of incident response frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
- Expertise in network and host-based forensics, malware analysis, and memory analysis.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
