Job Overview
This role is for an experienced professional services consultant who will deliver high-impact solutions to EDB’s clientele. You will be a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance on database architecture, performance tuning, and application integration, with a strong focus on Postgres. Your expertise will directly contribute to client success and the expansion of their data and AI capabilities.Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver complex EDB solutions implementation projects for clients.
- Provide expert technical consultation and guidance on Postgres database technologies.
- Conduct assessments, design workshops, and develop strategic recommendations for clients.
- Troubleshoot and resolve challenging technical issues related to EDB products and Postgres.
- Develop and deliver training and knowledge transfer sessions to client teams.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Support teams to ensure client satisfaction.
- Contribute to the development of best practices and reusable assets for the Professional Services team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in professional services, consulting, or a similar client-facing technical role.
- Deep expertise in PostgreSQL database administration, performance tuning, and architecture.
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native technologies.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, analytics, and AI/ML concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently.
