Job Overview
The Senior Associate will play a pivotal role in supporting and advancing CHAI's malaria program objectives in South Africa. This position requires a proactive individual with strong analytical and project management skills, capable of driving impactful initiatives and fostering collaborative partnerships with government stakeholders and other implementing partners.Key Responsibilities
- Support the design and implementation of malaria program strategies and interventions.
- Conduct data analysis to inform program planning, monitoring, and evaluation.
- Manage key project activities, ensuring timely and effective execution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the Ministry of Health and other national malaria stakeholders.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and capacity building within the malaria program.
- Contribute to report writing and proposal development.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience in global health or public health programs.
- Demonstrated experience in project management and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Familiarity with the South African health system and malaria landscape is preferred.
