Job Overview
The Senior Accountant will play a pivotal role in managing TERAWORK's financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial planning. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices within the Nigerian context, coupled with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger operations, including reconciliations and month-end close processes.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations and statutory filings.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
