Job Overview
The Senior Accountant will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the financial operations of Crown Interactive's Nigerian office, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all accounting functions. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices within the Nigerian context.Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulatory requirements.
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Conduct internal audits and implement control measures to safeguard assets.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc projects and analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA) is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- In-depth knowledge of Nigerian accounting standards and tax laws.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
