Job Overview
The Result Desk Officer will be responsible for the efficient and accurate processing, management, and dissemination of patient test results. This position acts as a vital link between the diagnostic departments and our patients, ensuring timely and professional communication of critical health information.Key Responsibilities
- Receive, verify, and accurately record patient diagnostic results from various departments.
- Prepare and package results for release to patients and referring physicians.
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of all patient data in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Address patient inquiries regarding their results in a clear, empathetic, and professional manner.
- Maintain organized filing systems for both physical and electronic records.
- Liaise with laboratory and radiology staff to resolve any discrepancies or queries.
