- As a Social Media Manager Nigeria, you will be responsible for creating and executing social media strategies that generate buzz on X (Twitter), Instagram, Facebook groups, and WhatsApp communities. This role is fully remote and offers the opportunity to be a core member of our 3-person team shaping the future of Artisan Connect.

- Develop and schedule at least 7 posts per week on X, including teasers, polls, and cultural spotlights such as “Naija Artisan Stories.”
- Engage actively in Facebook groups and WhatsApp communities, responding to comments, building relationships, and promoting beta sign-ups.
- Set up and optimize targeted Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns to reach audiences interested in Nigerian culture, small businesses, and home services.
- Track and analyze social media performance metrics such as impressions, clicks, and sign-ups, providing weekly insights to guide strategy.
- Collaborate on content calendars to balance educational, cultural, and promotional content with clear calls to action.
- Continuously test different content approaches (e.g., cultural storytelling vs. problem-solving tips) and optimize campaigns based on data.

Requirements

- 1–3 years of social media management experience, preferably with startups or local Nigerian brands.
- Strong knowledge of X, Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp, including ad management via Meta Ads Manager.

- Excellent English communication skills and an understanding of Nigerian culture, artisan trades, and online communities.
- Creative, proactive, and data-driven mindset with the ability to grow communities organically.
- Reliable internet connection and availability aligned with Nigerian time zones.
