Job Overview
The Regulatory Compliance Officer will be responsible for overseeing and implementing all regulatory compliance policies and procedures within Givanas Group. This includes staying abreast of evolving Nigerian regulations, conducting internal audits, and ensuring that all products and business practices meet necessary legal requirements, thereby safeguarding the company's reputation and operational integrity.Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret all relevant Nigerian laws, regulations, and industry standards pertaining to FMCG manufacturing and distribution.
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance programs and policies.
- Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate compliance gaps.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies, government agencies, and industry associations on behalf of the company.
- Prepare and submit required regulatory reports and documentation accurately and on time.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance matters.
- Investigate and resolve any compliance-related issues or grievances.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Regulatory Compliance Officer or in a similar role, preferably within the FMCG sector in Nigeria.
- In-depth knowledge of Nigerian regulatory frameworks, including NAFDAC, SON, and other relevant agencies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
