Job Overview
The Regional HUB & Country Director will provide strategic leadership and oversight for PATH's operations across West-Central Africa, with a primary focus on Nigeria. This role is critical for driving program implementation, fostering partnerships, and ensuring PATH's mission is advanced effectively within the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans for the region aligned with PATH's global objectives.
- Lead and manage country teams, ensuring efficient program delivery and operational excellence.
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with government ministries, local partners, donors, and other stakeholders.
- Oversee program development, proposal writing, and resource mobilization efforts.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, donor regulations, and ethical standards.
- Represent PATH at high-level forums and advocate for global health priorities.
Requirements
- Master's degree in public health, international development, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in global health program management.
- Demonstrated success in leading teams and managing complex projects in resource-limited settings.
- In-depth understanding of the health landscape in West-Central Africa, particularly Nigeria.
- Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, partnership building, and fundraising.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
