This role is central to realizing CHAK's mission of supporting its members in providing non-profit healthcare services.
Job Overview
The Program Officer will drive CHAK's education, research, and advocacy agenda, working to enhance health systems strengthening across member organizations. This position supports CHAK's commitment to facilitating quality healthcare provision and strengthening the capacity of member health units through evidence-based advocacy and collaborative programming.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement education and advocacy programs aligned with CHAK's strategic objectives
- Conduct health systems research to inform advocacy strategies and policy recommendations
- Coordinate with member organizations to identify priority health issues and evidence gaps
- Prepare policy briefs and advocacy materials for stakeholder engagement
- Monitor and evaluate program outcomes and impact
- Build partnerships with government agencies, NGOs, and research institutions
Requirements
- Master's degree in Public Health, Health Policy, or related field
- 5+ years' experience in health advocacy or systems strengthening
- Demonstrated research and writing capabilities
- Strong stakeholder engagement experience
