Job Overview
You'll own the research function for our product portfolio, including Edulinks.ng, NairaBiz, and Pitch Prophet. This is a foundational role where you'll establish research methodologies, conduct user interviews and testing, analyze behavioral data, and present actionable findings that shape our product strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute qualitative research (interviews, usability testing, surveys) with Nigerian business users
- Analyze product usage data and customer feedback to identify patterns and opportunities
- Create research artifacts (personas, journey maps, insights reports) for cross-functional teams
- Lead hypothesis validation before major product launches
- Build a scalable research operation from the ground up
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to prioritize roadmap items based on research findings
Requirements
- 3+ years in user research, product management, or related customer discovery roles
- Proficiency with research tools and statistical analysis
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Deep familiarity with Nigerian business context and user behaviors
- Ability to work with incomplete data and ambiguity
