Job Overview
The Procurement Officer will be responsible for managing all aspects of the procurement process, from identifying suppliers and negotiating contracts to ensuring timely delivery and maintaining optimal inventory levels. - Identify, evaluate, and select qualified suppliers for raw materials, components, and equipment.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable agreements.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders and manage the entire requisition-to-payment cycle.
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast future material needs to prevent shortages and overstocking.

- Track and report on procurement activities, costs, and supplier performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar procurement role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of procurement principles, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in relevant procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
