Job Overview
The Process Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and optimization of chemical, physical, and biological processes within SEEPCO’s Nigerian operations. This role requires a deep understanding of process engineering principles to ensure safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible production.Key Responsibilities
- Design and optimize process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
- Conduct feasibility studies and economic evaluations for new processes and modifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues related to process performance.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, operations, and maintenance teams.
- Implement process control strategies and advanced control applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in process engineering within the oil and gas industry.
- Strong understanding of process simulation software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
