The Consulate is seeking a Political/Economic Assistant to support the Political-Economic Section. This is a full-time position based in Lagos, Nigeria.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Economics, Business, Trade, Finance, International Relations, or related fields.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in research, analysis, or report drafting.
- Familiarity with U.S. Embassy operations, the structure of the Nigerian government, and relevant actors and protocols.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex political, economic, and social information.
- Excellent writing and drafting skills for producing high-quality letters, memoranda, and reports.

Compensation
- Salary: USD $48,225 per year
