Job Overview
The Painter will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces of high-rise buildings, ensuring a high-quality and aesthetically pleasing result. This role demands precision, efficiency, and a commitment to safety protocols.Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping, sanding, and priming.
- Apply paint, varnish, stain, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, sprayers, and other application tools.
- Mix paints to achieve desired colors and consistency.
- Protect surrounding areas from paint splatters and drips using drop cloths and masking tape.
- Inspect painted surfaces to ensure quality and identify any defects.
- Perform minor repairs to walls and ceilings as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Painter, preferably in commercial or high-rise settings.
- Proficiency in various painting techniques and the use of painting tools and equipment.
- Knowledge of different types of paints, coatings, and their applications.
- Ability to read and understand instructions and safety guidelines.
