Job Overview
As a Packet Core & Cloud Infrastructure SME, you will be a key technical authority responsible for the design, deployment, and optimization of Ericsson's packet core products and cloud-native solutions. You will work closely with engineering teams, project managers, and customers to deliver high-performance, reliable, and cost-effective network infrastructure.Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement packet core solutions, including 5G Core, EPC, and related technologies.
- Architect and deploy cloud-native infrastructure and virtualized network functions (VNFs/CNFs).
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within the packet core and cloud environments.
- Provide expert technical guidance and support to internal teams and external customers.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of Ericsson's product portfolio.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in packet core and cloud computing.
Requirements
- Proven experience with mobile packet core technologies (e.g., 5G Core, EPC, SGW, PGW, MME, AMF, SMF, UPF).
- In-depth knowledge of cloud technologies such as OpenStack, Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native principles.
- Strong understanding of IP networking, routing, switching, and security protocols.
- Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Ansible, Python) is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications in cloud platforms or networking are a plus.
