Job Overview
The Senior Manager, Finance Strategy & Planning will play a pivotal role in developing and executing Cohesity’s financial strategy, focusing on driving sustainable growth and operational excellence, with a particular emphasis on understanding and capitalizing on opportunities within the Malian market.Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine long-term financial strategies and multi-year financial plans.
- Conduct market analysis and financial modeling to identify growth opportunities and risks in emerging markets, including Mali.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to translate strategic initiatives into actionable financial plans.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Develop and manage budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Monitor key financial performance indicators and report on variances.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA, CPA) is a plus.
- Proven experience (typically 7+ years) in finance strategy, FP&A, or corporate finance.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct financial analysis and build financial models.
- Strong understanding of financial planning principles and processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
- Experience or strong interest in emerging markets, particularly within Africa, is highly desirable.
