Job Overview
The Operations & Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day management, upkeep, and performance optimization of our Solar Photovoltaic (PV) systems and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). This role requires a strong technical background, practical experience in renewable energy systems, and a commitment to ensuring continuous and efficient power generation.Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance on Solar PV arrays and BESS components.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime of renewable energy systems.
- Monitor system performance using SCADA and other monitoring platforms, identifying areas for improvement.
- Conduct site assessments and recommend upgrades or modifications to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Manage spare parts inventory and ensure timely procurement of necessary components.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during maintenance activities.
- Prepare detailed reports on system performance, maintenance activities, and incident analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the operation and maintenance of Solar PV systems and BESS.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical components of renewable energy systems.
- Familiarity with SCADA systems and performance monitoring tools.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols in an industrial environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
