Job Overview
The NYSC Accounts Intern will work closely with the Finance Department, supporting the Financial Manager and the accounting team in various financial operations. This role offers hands-on exposure to fundamental accounting principles and practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with data entry and record-keeping for financial transactions.
- Support the reconciliation of bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Help prepare invoices, payment vouchers, and other financial documents.
- Contribute to the preparation of financial reports under guidance.
- Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as assigned.
- Maintain organized financial filing systems.
Requirements
- Current NYSC deployment to Lagos, Nigeria.
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
