Job Overview
This role involves providing comprehensive technical support for our high-speed internet, telephony, and IP-VPN services. You will be the frontline responder for network-related issues, working to minimize downtime and maintain customer satisfaction. This position requires both field and remote support capabilities, with occasional on-call availability.Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues for residential and enterprise clients
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot hardware and software problems
- Conduct site visits to customer locations for installation and maintenance
- Document technical issues and maintain detailed support records
- Provide telephone and remote technical assistance to subscribers
- Collaborate with network operations team to identify systemic issues
Requirements
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent certification
- Proven experience in ISP or network support environment
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and networking fundamentals
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
