Job Overview
CCSI seeks a skilled and enthusiastic Multimedia Officer to join our team in Nigeria. This role is critical in developing and disseminating engaging multimedia content that supports our mission of driving social and behavior change. The Multimedia Officer will be instrumental in translating complex health and development messages into accessible and compelling visual and audio formats for diverse audiences.Key Responsibilities
- Develop and produce high-quality multimedia content, including videos, graphics, animations, audio recordings, and social media assets.
- Conceptualize and script engaging multimedia narratives that align with CCSI's program objectives and communication strategies.
- Edit and finalize multimedia materials, ensuring technical quality, adherence to brand guidelines, and clarity of message.
- Manage and maintain CCSI's multimedia assets and archives.
- Collaborate with program teams to understand communication needs and translate them into effective multimedia solutions.
- Stay abreast of emerging multimedia trends and technologies to enhance content creation.
- Manage the distribution of multimedia content across various platforms, including digital and traditional media.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Digital Media, Graphic Design, Film Production, or a related field.
- Proven experience in multimedia production, including video editing, graphic design, and animation.
- Proficiency in industry-standard multimedia software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling and audience engagement principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of public health or development communication is an added advantage.
