Job Overview

The Control Room Operator serves as the central coordination point for plant operations. The role involves real time monitoring of production systems, maintaining operational stability, and ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards.

Operational Monitoring and Control

• Monitor production processes using DCS, SCADA, PLC, and related control systems
• Ensure operations remain within approved parameters to maintain product quality and output levels
• Adjust control settings to stabilize and optimize plant processes
• Detect and escalate system abnormalities, alarms, or equipment faults
• Coordinate corrective actions with field operators and maintenance teams

Data Management and Reporting

• Maintain accurate logs of equipment readings and production activities
• Prepare detailed shift reports and operational summaries
• Track deviations and support performance analysis
• Assist in interpreting process trends to improve efficiency

Safety, Quality, and Compliance

• Follow Standard Operating Procedures and Health, Safety, and Environmental policies
• Support safe start up and shutdown procedures
• Participate in emergency response drills and safety initiatives
• Ensure full compliance with internal quality standards and regulatory requirements
• Report hazards, near misses, and incidents promptly

Communication and Coordination
