Job Overview
The Logistics Manager will be instrumental in overseeing and optimizing Proten's logistical operations within Nigeria. This role demands a strategic approach to ensure the efficient flow of resources, materials, and personnel, supporting our diverse range of client engagements and internal operational needs.Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of logistics, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory.
- Develop and implement effective logistics strategies to support Proten's service delivery.
- Oversee the procurement and management of resources for training and consulting projects.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant Nigerian logistics regulations and company policies.
- Optimize delivery routes and schedules for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure timely and quality service delivery.
- Manage and maintain logistical documentation and records.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Logistics Manager or in a similar role, preferably within Nigeria.
- Strong understanding of Nigerian transportation networks and customs procedures.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in logistics management software and tools.
