Job Overview
The Legal/HR Officer will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal support and managing human resources functions to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, as well as fostering a positive and productive workplace.Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert legal advice on a wide range of corporate and real estate matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws and employment regulations.
- Manage employee relations, grievance procedures, and disciplinary actions.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
- Assist with legal research and case preparation when necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field.
- Professional qualification in Human Resources (e.g., CIPM, CIPD) is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in legal and HR roles.
- Strong understanding of Nigerian corporate and labor laws.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in HR management software and legal research tools.
