Job Overview
This role will involve contributing to the successful implementation of Malaria Consortium's programmes in Nigeria. The successful candidate will play a key part in delivering impactful malaria control interventions, supporting health system strengthening initiatives, and collaborating with national and sub-national stakeholders.Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance to support the achievement of project objectives related to malaria control.
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of capacity building and training activities for health workers.
- Contribute to monitoring and evaluation efforts, ensuring data quality and timely reporting.
- Support the strengthening of health systems at various levels to improve malaria service delivery.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration with partners, including government ministries and local organisations.
Requirements
- Relevant academic qualification in public health, health sciences, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in public health programmes, preferably within the Nigerian context.
- Understanding of malaria control strategies and health systems strengthening principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in a team.
