Job Overview
The ICAN Desk Officer will serve as the primary liaison between Lead City University and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). This position will be responsible for managing and promoting ICAN-related programs, ensuring compliance with ICAN regulations, and facilitating student engagement with professional accounting qualifications.Key Responsibilities
- Act as the central point of contact for all ICAN-related inquiries and operations at the Abuja campus.
- Coordinate the delivery and administration of ICAN professional examinations and preparatory courses.
- Liaise with ICAN officials to ensure adherence to accreditation standards and curriculum requirements.
- Promote ICAN professional qualifications and their benefits to prospective and current students.
- Maintain accurate records of student registrations, examination results, and other relevant ICAN documentation.
- Organize workshops, seminars, and career guidance sessions related to professional accounting.
- Address student queries and provide support regarding ICAN examinations and membership.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in an academic or administrative role, preferably within a university setting.
- Familiarity with the ICAN examination structure and requirements.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software, including Microsoft Office Suite.
