Job Overview
The Hotel Facility / Pool Maintenance Officer will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and preventative maintenance of all hotel facilities, with a specialized focus on the swimming pool, ensuring it meets the highest standards of safety and cleanliness. This role is crucial to maintaining the guest experience and operational efficiency of Lazeto Hotels.Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of all hotel facilities, including guest rooms, common areas, and external grounds.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general building structures.
- Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of the swimming pool, including water testing, chemical balancing, cleaning, and filtration system checks.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently.
- Implement and manage a preventative maintenance program for all equipment and facilities.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and hotel standards.
- Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, reporting needs for reordering.
- Assist with minor repairs and upkeep of the hotel's fish pond.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facility maintenance, with a strong emphasis on swimming pool operations and maintenance.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general building repair techniques.
