Job Overview
The Head of Business Development will be instrumental in identifying and securing strategic growth opportunities for EbonyLife TV in the South African market. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing innovative business strategies, forging key relationships, and driving revenue growth.Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies tailored for the South African market.
- Identify, negotiate, and close new partnerships and revenue-generating opportunities.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including advertisers, sponsors, content distributors, and industry leaders.
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and consumer insights to inform business strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams (content, marketing, finance) to ensure successful execution of business initiatives.
- Represent EbonyLife TV at industry events and conferences.
Requirements
- Proven track record in business development, strategic partnerships, or sales within the media or entertainment industry.
- In-depth understanding of the South African media landscape and DStv platform dynamics.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
