Job Overview
The Head of IT Audit will lead the IT audit function, ensuring the integrity, security, and efficiency of our clients' and our own IT systems and processes. This role involves developing and executing comprehensive IT audit plans, identifying risks, and recommending mitigation strategies to safeguard assets and ensure regulatory compliance.Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the overall IT audit strategy and plan.
- Conduct risk assessments of IT systems, infrastructure, and applications.
- Perform independent audits to evaluate the design and effectiveness of internal controls over IT.
- Identify vulnerabilities, control weaknesses, and non-compliance issues.
- Prepare detailed audit reports with clear findings and actionable recommendations.
- Follow up on audit findings to ensure timely and effective remediation.
- Stay abreast of emerging IT risks, technologies, and regulatory changes.
- Collaborate with IT management and business stakeholders to promote a strong control environment.
- Mentor and develop IT audit team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, or CRISC.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT audit, risk management, or cybersecurity.
- In-depth knowledge of IT general controls, application controls, and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Experience with data analytics tools and techniques for audit purposes.
- Strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations (e.g., data privacy).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
