Job Overview
The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating engaging and impactful visual content across all MHR's social media platforms, primarily for Love Matters Naija. This role requires a creative individual with a strong understanding of visual storytelling, branding, and digital design trends, capable of translating complex information into accessible and aesthetically pleasing graphics.Key Responsibilities
- Design compelling graphics, illustrations, infographics, and short animations for social media campaigns.
- Ensure all visual content aligns with MHR and Love Matters Naija's brand guidelines and messaging.
- Develop creative concepts for visual content that effectively communicate health and rights information.
- Adapt designs for various social media platforms, optimizing for engagement and reach.
- Collaborate with the communications team to understand campaign objectives and translate them into visual assets.
- Manage and organize all design assets.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing social media content.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Excellent understanding of visual communication principles and design trends.
- Ability to interpret creative briefs and translate them into effective visual designs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working with NGOs or in the development sector is an advantage.
