Role Overview
DEER Nigeria is seeking a skilled Frontend & Backend Developer to support the development and optimization of its digital platforms. The successful candidate will work across both client-facing interfaces and server-side systems, collaborating closely with designers and engineers to build scalable, high-performance solutions.
This role is ideal for a developer with strong modern JavaScript experience and an interest in AI-enabled backend systems.Frontend Responsibilities
- Build and maintain responsive, high-performance user interfaces for web applications.
- Collaborate closely with designers to translate UI/UX designs into clean, functional code.
- Implement modern frontend architectures using Next.js, Turborepo, and HeroUI.
- Optimize applications for speed, accessibility, and cross-device compatibility.
- Ensure seamless integration between frontend components and backend services.

- Experience working with APIs, authentication systems, and cloud-based services.
