Operating from a substantial 550-hectare farm within the National Veterinary Research Institute (NVRI) in Vom, Plateau State, our operations are strategically located in a prime highland environment conducive to excellent animal husbandry. We are seeking a diligent and experienced Finance Control Executive to join our growing team in Abuja.Job Overview
The Finance Control Executive will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of Integrated Dairies Limited's financial operations. This role demands a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of financial controls, risk management, and reporting within the Nigerian business landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and implement robust internal financial control systems and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, regulations, and tax laws in Nigeria.
- Manage and prepare accurate financial statements, reports, and analyses for management and stakeholders.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of financial transactions and records.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate financial risks and optimize financial performance.
- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in financial control or audit roles.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian accounting practices and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
