Job Overview
The Field Operations Service Supervisor will lead and manage a team of field technicians, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery and customer satisfaction. This role requires a proactive approach to operational management, problem-solving, and the implementation of best practices in field service operations.Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the field operations team.
- Ensure timely and effective installation, maintenance, and repair of all ISN network infrastructure and client equipment.
- Monitor team performance, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback.
- Manage inventory of equipment and spare parts for field operations.
- Adhere to and enforce all safety protocols and company policies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered in the field.
- Liaise with customer support and other departments to ensure client needs are met.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a field operations or technical service environment, preferably in the telecommunications sector.
- Strong understanding of networking technologies (TCP/IP, VSAT, cellular backhaul, VPNs).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a team, delegate tasks effectively, and motivate personnel.
- Proficient in problem-solving and decision-making.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Nigeria.
