Job Overview
The Facilities Officer will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of all physical facilities at Integrated Dairies Limited, ensuring a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment that supports our dairy production and processing operations. This role requires a proactive individual with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of all IDL facilities, including the dairy farm, processing plant, administrative buildings, and grounds.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for all equipment and infrastructure.
- Manage and coordinate repairs, renovations, and upgrades to facilities as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Supervise and manage external contractors and service providers.
- Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
- Respond promptly to facility-related issues and emergencies.
- Prepare and manage facility maintenance budgets.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in facilities management, preferably within an industrial or agricultural setting.
- Strong understanding of building systems, maintenance, and repair.
