Job Overview

- * Develop and implement robust strategies for identifying, monitoring, and managing excess inventory across all warehousing and distribution points. * Analyze root causes of excess inventory, including forecasting inaccuracies, procurement issues, and sales performance, and recommend corrective actions. * Lead initiatives to reduce or liquidate excess stock through various channels, such as promotions, transfers, or disposal, while maximizing recovery value. * Collaborate with procurement, sales, and operations teams to improve inventory planning, demand forecasting, and order fulfillment processes. * Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory levels, carrying costs, and stock turnover, and report on performance regularly. * Conduct regular audits of inventory data and physical stock to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies. * Identify and implement process improvements to prevent the recurrence of excess inventory issues and enhance operational efficiency. * Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in inventory management and logistics to continuously refine our strategies.
Requirements
