Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Environmental/Regulatory Advisor I to join our team in the Engineering and Project Support Services department. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and standards, as well as providing expert advice on environmental matters related to our projects. - * Provide expert advice on environmental regulations, standards, and best practices to project teams and stakeholders * Conduct environmental impact assessments and risk analyses to identify potential environmental hazards and develop mitigation strategies * Develop and implement environmental management plans and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements * Collaborate with project teams to integrate environmental considerations into project design, planning, and execution * Monitor and report on environmental performance and compliance with regulatory requirements * Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies, stakeholders, and industry partners to stay up-to-date on emerging trends and best practices * Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards * Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement changes to environmental processes and procedures
Requirements
- * Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field * Minimum 2-3 years of experience in environmental consulting, regulatory compliance, or a related field * Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, standards, and best practices in the oil and gas industry * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams * Ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions to environmental challenges * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box * Proficiency in environmental management systems and software, such as ISO 14001 and environmental monitoring databases
