Job Overview
As an Enterprise Sales Engineer at Samsara Toronto, you will be instrumental in driving the technical sales process for our enterprise clients. You will partner closely with our sales team to understand customer needs, design compelling solutions, and demonstrate the tangible value of Samsara's platform. Your expertise will be critical in building trust and accelerating adoption of our IoT solutions.Key Responsibilities
- Conduct technical discovery sessions to deeply understand prospective client operational challenges and requirements.
- Design and deliver impactful product demonstrations and proof-of-concept implementations tailored to client needs.
- Articulate the technical architecture and benefits of Samsara's Connected Operations Cloud.
- Collaborate with Sales Account Executives to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Samsara's technology and its application within various industries.
- Address technical objections and provide solutions to ensure customer confidence.
- Gather and communicate market feedback to product and engineering teams.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar technical pre-sales role in an enterprise software environment.
- Strong understanding of IoT concepts, cloud platforms, and data analytics.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage technical and business stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value.
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth technology company is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
