Job Overview

- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for a diverse product portfolio.
- Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and promotional activities to refine forecast accuracy.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to align demand plans with business objectives.
- Optimize inventory levels to ensure product availability while mitigating excess stock and obsolescence.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand planning and inventory management.
- Identify and report on deviations from the forecast and propose corrective actions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the demand planning process.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in demand planning, forecasting, or inventory management.
- Proficiency in demand forecasting software and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Understanding of the Nigerian market is an advantage.
