Job Overview
We seek a dynamic Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist to provide specialized clinical services, lead departmental initiatives, and mentor junior medical staff. You will work within a multidisciplinary team environment that prioritizes patient safety, clinical excellence, and innovative reproductive healthcare solutions.Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynaecological care to patients across all complexity levels
- Conduct complex surgical procedures and manage high-risk pregnancies
- Lead fertility consultations and reproductive endocrinology services
- Supervise and mentor junior doctors and healthcare professionals
- Participate in departmental quality improvement and research initiatives
- Ensure compliance with established clinical protocols and patient safety standards
Requirements
- Valid medical license and specialist registration with relevant Nigerian regulatory bodies
- Minimum 5 years post-fellowship experience in obstetrics and gynaecology
- Advanced certification in reproductive medicine or maternal-fetal medicine (preferred)
- Strong communication and leadership capabilities
