Job Overview
The Cinematographer will be responsible for the visual narrative and technical execution of all video productions at ATECH Polytechnic. This includes conceptualizing, shooting, and editing high-quality video content that aligns with the polytechnic's mission, vision, and brand identity. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of camera operation, lighting, and sound, and the ability to translate ideas into compelling visual stories.Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute video shoots, ensuring artistic vision and technical quality.
- Operate various camera equipment, including DSLRs, cinema cameras, and drones.
- Set up and manage lighting equipment to achieve desired visual aesthetics.
- Record clear and high-quality audio for all video productions.
- Edit raw footage into polished videos, incorporating graphics, music, and voiceovers.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Maintain and manage all video production equipment.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in cinematography and video production.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cinematographer or in a similar video production role.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of cinematic styles and techniques.
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- In-depth knowledge of camera operation, lighting principles, and sound recording.
- Excellent understanding of visual storytelling and narrative structure.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
