Job Overview
The Business Development Manager/Sales Executive will be instrumental in driving the growth of our smart school solutions within Nigeria. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales and business development, particularly within the education technology sector. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, building strong relationships with educational institutions and stakeholders, and closing deals that align with our company's growth objectives.Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for smart school solutions in Nigeria.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities with schools, universities, and relevant educational bodies.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in the education sector.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and emerging trends.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations of our smart school solutions.
- Negotiate and close contracts, ensuring profitable and mutually beneficial agreements.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective promotional materials and campaigns.
- Provide market feedback to the product development team to inform future solution enhancements.
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development and sales, preferably within the EdTech or technology solutions industry.
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of the Nigerian education landscape and market dynamics.
