Job Overview
As our Business Development Manager, you will be instrumental in identifying and capitalizing on new opportunities within the Nigerian Oil & Gas landscape. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to expand our client base, secure new projects, and enhance our market position. This role requires a deep understanding of the upstream and downstream sub-sectors, a proactive approach to relationship building, and the ability to translate market insights into actionable growth strategies. You will collaborate closely with senior management and operational teams to ensure alignment with Beneprojecti's overarching business objectives.Key Responsibilities
- * Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the upstream and downstream segments of the Nigerian Oil & Gas industry. * Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve ambitious revenue and growth targets. * Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and potential partners. * Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and potential areas for diversification. * Prepare and present compelling proposals, presentations, and tender documents to prospective clients. * Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to ensure accurate and competitive project bidding. * Represent Beneprojecti Nigeria Limited at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events. * Monitor and report on business development activities, pipeline status, and market intelligence to senior leadership.
Requirements
- * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. * Minimum of 7 years of proven experience in business development specifically within the Nigerian Oil & Gas sector. * Demonstrated success in securing significant contracts and building strong client relationships within the industry. * In-depth knowledge of EPCMM services and their application in both onshore and offshore oil and gas projects. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels. * Proficiency in market analysis, strategic planning, and proposal development. * A strong understanding of the regulatory environment and operational nuances of the Nigerian Oil & Gas industry.
