Job Overview
The Officer, Network Administration will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Stanbic IBTC Bank's network infrastructure. You will play a key role in ensuring optimal network performance, security, and availability to support critical banking operations and client services.Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats.
- Perform regular network backups and disaster recovery planning.
- Document network configurations, procedures, and incident resolutions.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in network administration, preferably in a financial services environment.
- Proficiency in networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
- Experience with network security principles and tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are an added advantage.
