Job Overview

You will be instrumental in expanding our merchant network and enhancing our service offerings.Key Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities and potential strategic partnerships.
- Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to achieve growth targets.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with merchants, financial institutions, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends and competitive landscape.
- Negotiate and close partnership agreements that align with OPay's objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful implementation of new initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or partnership management, preferably within the fintech or mobile money sector.
- Strong understanding of the Nigerian market and its business landscape.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze market data and develop strategic plans.
