Job Overview
The BSS Human Research Protection Program (HRPP) Analyst will provide essential support to the HRPP and Institutional Review Board (IRB) operations. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with federal regulations, institutional policies, and ethical principles governing human subjects research. The analyst will work collaboratively with researchers, IRB members, and other stakeholders to facilitate the review and oversight process.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the administrative review and processing of research protocols submitted to the IRB.
- Provide guidance and support to researchers regarding IRB submission requirements and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of IRB meeting minutes, correspondence, and study-related documentation.
- Support the development and dissemination of HRPP policies, procedures, and educational materials.
- Participate in ongoing monitoring and auditing of approved research studies to ensure compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., life sciences, public health, social sciences, healthcare administration) or equivalent experience.
