Job Overview
The Blocks Production Officer will be responsible for the overall management and optimisation of our block production facilities and associated machinery. This role demands a proactive individual with a strong understanding of concrete block manufacturing processes and machinery maintenance.Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily block production operations to meet quality and quantity targets.
- Ensure all block-making machinery is operated efficiently and safely.
- Implement and maintain strict quality control procedures for all produced blocks.
- Schedule and oversee regular maintenance and repair of production machinery.
- Manage raw material inventory and ensure timely procurement.
- Train and supervise production staff.
- Identify and implement process improvements for increased efficiency and cost reduction.
Requirements
- Proven experience in concrete block production and machinery operation.
- Good understanding of construction materials and quality standards.
- Mechanical aptitude for machinery troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- OND/HND in a relevant technical field is an advantage.
