About the Billing Officer Job in Abuja
The Billing Officer will manage the LIMS to invoice workflow and oversee real time accounts receivable tracking. This role is central to ensuring accurate revenue capture, contract compliance, and healthy cash flow.
You will work closely with both the technical laboratory team and management to ensure that all billing processes align with agreed service terms and client expectations.
Precision Invoicing and Revenue Management
- Generate accurate and itemized invoices from detailed laboratory work orders
- Cross check completed work against signed Service Level Agreements and contracts
- Apply volume based discounts and special project rates correctly
- Maintain and update a comprehensive price list database alongside customized client contracts
Accounts Receivable and Payment Monitoring
- Monitor the accounts receivable aging report and track payments in real time
- Send structured and professional reminders for overdue invoices
- Identify high risk or consistently delayed accounts and prepare detailed reports for management review
Client Communication and Dispute Resolution
- Serve as the first point of contact for all billing related inquiries
- Investigate disputed charges in collaboration with the technical team
