Job Overview
The Assistant Warehouse Head will support the Warehouse Head in overseeing all warehouse activities, including inventory management, stock control, receiving, dispatch, and maintaining a safe and organized working environment. This position requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills and a commitment to operational excellence.Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily warehouse operations, including inbound and outbound logistics.
- Support inventory counting, reconciliation, and stock control procedures.
- Ensure accurate recording of all incoming and outgoing goods.
- Aid in maintaining warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with the Warehouse Head on staff scheduling and task delegation.
- Assist in supervising warehouse personnel and providing on-the-job training.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; a certificate in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
- Proven experience in a warehouse or inventory control environment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS).
